About Artist

Na kim has had her solo exhibitions at Doosan Gallery New York(2015, New York,  NY, USA), Doosan Gallery Seoul(2014, Seoul, Korea), Gallery Factory(2011, Seoul, Korea), BMH(2006, Seoul, Korea). She has also participated in numerous group shows, both domestic and international, which include group shows at Kukje Gallery(2016, Seoul, Korea), the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art(2014, Gwacheon, Korea), the V&A Museum(2013, London, UK), Culture Station Seoul 284(2012, Seoul, Korea), the Museum of Modern Art(2012, New York, NY, USA), la Triennale di Milano(2011, Milan, Italy), and at PAKT(2010, Amsterdam, the Netherlands). She has also participated in various different international events such as the Chaumont Festival(2013, Chaumont, France), Typojanchi(2013, Seoul, Korea), and the Brno Biennale(2012, Brno, Czech Republic).

Artist’s Note
SET v. 7 is part of an ongoing series titled SET, first shown as a solo exhibition in New York in 2015. In SET, a collection of past works dating from 2006 was presented. The book with the eponymous title functions as a catalog and an exhibition plan. In the SET series, the contents of the catalog are installed in the exhibition space. SET v. 7 is also based on a series of book designs and exhibition images.
